Mission
The Vance Aquatics Club is an independent, nonprofit organization,
which encourages and supports aquatic sports opportunities for young people.
Purpose
The purpose of the Vance Aquatics Club is to provide children the opportunity to participate in the year round team sport of competitive swimming. The Vance Aquatics Club strives to provide a climate of friendly competition where swimmers can develop a love for the sport, improve their swimming skills and learn principles of good sportsmanship. The most important goal of the Vance Aquatics Club is the promotion of regular exercise as a way of increasing the quality of life in children.
Volunteers
Because we are a parent run team, every swimmer is required to have a parent volunteer for one of the many jobs required to keep our team running smoothly. Check with any board member for a list of volunteer positions.
